Summer Research Award applications due 2/16/24

Summer Research Awards announced:  3/8/24

Academic scholarship application deadline: 4/26/24

Summer Research Award/Fellowship procedures:

1. College makes call for nominations.
2. Students (with faculty support) apply via the college website.
   1. If departments decide their own nominees, applications are forwarded to the department for consideration; departments return name of awardee to the college.
3. Application review by CSE scholarship committee or Dean’s designee, and awardee selection.

Arlan Norman Award procedures:

1. College makes call for nominations.
2. Department chairs or program directors submit letters of nomination and candidate CV via webform.
   1. Application review and awardee selection committee: CSE Dean, Dean of the Graduate School, prior year’s faculty and student winners and a student representative from the Graduate Council.

Spring scholarship procedures:

1. College makes call for nominations.
2. Students apply via the college website.
3. Application review:
   1. For scholarships in which departments select awardees, applications are returned to the department for consideration, departments return name of awardee(s) to the college.
   2. If college determines awardee, CSE scholarship committee or Dean’s designee review applications and choose awardees.
   3. Alma Clark Glass scholarship: college forwards applications to review committee; committee returns name of awardee(s) to college.

Marion Van Nostrand

Marion Van Nostrand scholarship for single parents: applications may be accepted through the scholarship application webform at any time; review by the CSE scholarship committee or Dean’s designee.
