WWU has equipped SpaceX with 21 engineers since 2010 from the Plastics & Composites Engineering, Industrial Technology - Vehicle Design, and Manufacturing Engineering programs. Alumni have worked on projects such as manufacturing process design/validation of rocket assembly, new product development, composite tooling design, and structural flight hardware design.
