Diana Santoro Science Scholarship

Diana Santoro was an extraordinary person. She personified grace, generosity and kindness to every person she met in her life.

In the Fall of 2020, Diana was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of uterine cancer that took her life in only 6 weeks.  She spelled courage 24 hours a day, every day of her life.

The Diana Santoro Science Scholarship is to honor Diana's legacy as well as support WWU students entering the field of medicine or academic research.  Diana will never be forgotten and her passion for education stays alive through the Diana Santoro Science Scholarship.

The purpose of The Diana Santoro Science Scholarship is to provide support for students in the College of Science and Engineering. Whenever possible, preference will be made to applicants who are Biology or Chemistry majors and demonstrate outstanding academic merit, as determined on a year-to-year basis.
