RALPH & JUNE ROHWEDER SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN AND UNDER-REPRESENTED STUDENTS STUDYING SCIENCE EDUCATION

The Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education (SMATE) Program at Western Washington University announces the Rohweder Science Education Scholarship.  This scholarship is for women or under represented students, either undergraduate or graduate, at WWU who are planning to become STEM teachers in grades K-12. Applicants must be U.S citizens. Applicants will be judged based on their GPA in their major courses, financial aid needs, recommendations from faculty, and their personal commitment to teaching. Western Washington University is committed to improving the quality and increasing the diversity of science teachers in the public schools.

For the 2018-19 academic year, two Rohweder scholarship will be awarded for $1000 each.
