Robert L. Hamilton Family Graduate Scholarship in Science

This endowment is created and shall be operated exclusively to fund a fellowship for a graduate student in the sciences. The Robert L. Hamilton Family Fellowship will be awarded to a graduate student enrolled in one of the departments in the College of Sciences and Technology at Western Washington University. The fellowship is renewable for a second year as long as the student is in good academic standing. The recipient of this scholarship is to be chosen by the dean of the College of Sciences and Technology or his or her designee.

Award:

  • 1 @ $4,800 (2018-19) to Mathematics
  • Rotates in alphabetical order through the CSE departments with grad programs (no Physics nor Engineering)

Criteria:

  • For a graduate student enrolled in Mathematics
  • Renewable for a second year, as long as the student is in good academic standing
