Careers in Mathematics

A degree in mathematics can prepare you for a variety of different careers. Our majors have gone on to work in fields as diverse as computer science, education, actuarial science, medicine, finance, defense technology, and the film industry. A number of our students have also gone on to Ph.D. programs throughout the country.
