The Department of Mathematics at Western Washington University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in areas complementing departmental strengths in pure and applied mathematics. We particularly seek expertise in probability, dynamical systems, ordinary differential equations, or related areas, with a preference for work in these areas motivated by applications to the natural, applied or social sciences. However, exceptionally strong applicants in other areas complementing departmental strengths will also be considered.
Application review begins November 15, 2019. The position is open until filled.
