Apply for Graduation

How to Apply for Graduation

Students should begin the process of applying for graduation a minimum of two quarters before their anticipated graduation date. This will allow the student to successfully meet the priority application deadline and will also provide the student with enough time to make any necessary modifications due to unforeseen circumstances, overlooked requirements, and/or scheduling conflicts. You should allow for at least 2-3 weeks to complete the departmental approval process.

Step 1

Visit the Registrar and review the Degree Application requirements and application deadlines.

Step 2

Schedule an appointment with your faculty advisor to complete the specific major worksheet that they will provide for you. Bring this completed worksheet to ET 204 for the Department Chair to approve and sign.

Step 3

Take all completed paperwork to the Registrar in Old Main 230. Make sure to include all approved Exception Request letters with your documentation if applicable.

Step 4 (if necessary)

If you need to make corrections to your graduation application AFTER it has been approved, you will need to complete a Course Substitution Approval form and have it signed by your advisor.
