Amazon Web Services – Let’s talk about growth


This session will talk all about the growth of AWS, the ways we had to innovate to scale with the growth we have seen, and the amazing career opportunities that present itself when you work with a growing organization. 


This talk will share some fun facts about AWS and learn our mechanisms for innovating for growth. You will learn some tips and tricks to consider as you build the next application focused toward growth. 


We will also talk through some career tips and tricks for continued growth and development. This session is all about growth!


The speaker, Brigid, currently manages the product management team for Amazon Web Services for Identity and Access Management. She has spent four years with this team innovating on behalf of customers to provide simple and scalable solutions to manage permissions in the AWS cloud. Prior to her career at Amazon she received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business. Brigid spent her early career as a consultant for Accenture and an engineer for JPMorgan Chase. Brigid received an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from University of Illinois. In her spare time, Brigid enjoys training her new horse Pickles.
