ACM Presents Data Visualization with Dr. Filip Jagodzinski

Tuesday, October 24, 2017 - 5:00pm
Location: CF 316

Histograms and scatter plots are no longer the go-to data presentation mode owing to the vastness (millions of data points) and high dimensionality (50 feature vectors are not uncommon) of datasets now common-place among most sciences. How can we learn from past cartographers and plot, visualize, and make sense of these new gargantuan data sets? This week, Dr. Filip Jagodzinski will help us answer these questions in a talk open to all experience levels.

We’ll meet in CF 316 next Tuesday at 5pm.
