Python "Under The Hood"
Python, as you may know, does a lot of really nice things in the background for us. There’s no memory management to worry about, variable types don’t need to be declared (it’s “loosely typed”), and much, much more. It may surprise you to know, then, that Python is built on top of C, a notoriously unforgiving language. How does all this work? How can the most-flexible language in our curriculum be built off one of the least-flexible? Come take a look under the hood of Python with Dr. Reedy to have these questions and many more answered.
This talk will be accessible and open to everyone. We hope you can make it.
