CHEM 471 Access Request

Use this form to request access to CHEM 471.

Are you a pre-med student?  Do you need access to CHEM 471 for the MCAT?

Complete this request at least two quarters prior to your desired quarter of enrollment.

If you are not a Biology or Biochemistry Major, fill out this request form for a chance at early registration/waitlisting just prior to Phase II of registration.

If you are a Biology Major, contact the Biology Advisors (in the Biology Department Office) about their process.  ALL Biology Majors must FIRST seek access via the Biology Advisors for the reserved section.  See ClassFinder for details on which section is reserved for Biology Majors.

If you are a Biochemistry Major, this form is not necessary.  Once Biochemistry Majors are admitted to Phase II, they are guaranteed a seat in CHEM 471.  See ClassFinder for details on which section is reserved for Biochemistry Majors.

Form submission is not a guarantee of enrollment

We cannot accommodate everyone and our priority is to our departmental majors.

It will not help to present yourself in the office to plead your case.

This form is only for CHEM 471 - Biochemistry Lecture I (only offered in Fall and Winter).

Do not submit this form for any other course.

Submit this form at least two quarters prior to your desired quarter of enrollment.
